Policies & Important Information

Registration and Enrolment

To register, you are required to complete the relevant form and submit it along with your non-refundable registration fee of J$3,000.
Individuals are considered enrolled in a programme after tuition fees have been paid in full.
Enrollment in all face-to-face programmes, virtual live learning, and webinar sessions is on a first-come basis and class sizes are limited.
If a course or webinar session is full, you may be placed on a waiting list at no charge.
Transfer of your space to a qualified person attracts an administrative fee of J$3,000.00.

Cancellations

For cancellations made 30 or more days before the start of the course, you will receive a full refund excluding the non-refundable registration fee.
If you cancel less than 30 but more than 15 days before the course start date, you will receive a 50% refund of tuition minus the non-refundable registration fee.
Cancellations made within 15 days of the course start date result in forfeiture of tuition.
If you are unable to complete your course due to illness or natural disaster, please contact the administration office.
If CPI cancels a programme, virtual live learning session, or webinar, you will be notified and offered an alternative or refund in keeping with institute policy.

Grievance Policy

Students should first discuss misunderstandings or issues regarding enrolment and cancellation with registry personnel.
If the issue is not resolved, the student should make a formal presentation to the Chief Executive Officer of the Institute.

Tuition & Fees (2026-2027)

Tuition Fees:Tuition fees apply to all courses and programmes offered by Caribbean Polytechnic Institute (CPI) at various levels. Tuition fees are published on the relevant programme and course information pages.
Registration Fees: A non-refundable registration fee is payable when an individual applies for admission.
- Local Students: JMD $3,000
- International Students: US $45
Technology Fees: US $120
One time technology fees apply to students pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate, degree, and other academic programmes. These fees support digital learning services including digital library access, academic technology resources, and plagiarism detection tools.
