Pioneers Since 2003
Welcome to the Caribbean Polytechnic Institute (CPI), an educational institution in Jamaica established in 2003 by Founder and CEO Keithea Beckford. CPI was created with a vision of building Jamaica's first polytechnic institute and providing education that combines theoretical knowledge with practical, vocational and professional application.
Over the years, CPI has delivered a diverse range of programmes to individual learners, government entities and private-sector organisations. Our approach is centred on practical, career-aligned learning designed to help learners develop the knowledge, skills and confidence required for work, career progression and professional development.
CPI continues to expand its academic and professional portfolio through collaborations with external awarding bodies, professional organisations and education partners. Our offerings include undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications, diplomas, certificates, professional certification, vocationally specific programmes, work-based learning, Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and workforce development.

CPI provides flexible learning opportunities designed for career starters, working professionals and career changers. Depending on the programme, delivery may include online, blended and work-based modalities supported by guided learning, live tutorials and CPI's Learning Management System.
Selected qualifications may also provide progression opportunities to further study, subject to the requirements and arrangements applicable to the specific programme.
